Breakfast the way you like it
The perfect start to your vacation day: We are happy to spoil you daily with the Mariengut breakfast basket, which we place unnoticed and without entering the apartment in the secret service box, which is located directly in the kitchen. It is filled with lots of delicacies and regional specialties that will delight early risers and late risers alike.
Nature in the center of Wagrain
Our miniature horses have their home right in front of our hotel. You can watch them from the comfort of your vacation apartment in the paddocks and pastures, but of course they are much happier about your visit and extensive petting. Thanks to our farm with horse breeding, rowanberry plantation and our own beekeeping, you can enjoy an unspoilt view that you will rarely find anywhere else.
In the middle of greenery
Our beautifully landscaped garden invites you to relax in the summer months. Let yourself drift in the natural swimming pond, relax in the numerous secluded spots, taste the fruit in the snack garden, get to know the small animals there and stroll along the hotel’s own promenade and much more. In winter you will find plenty of space in front of the aparthotel to build snowmen, have snowball fights and go downhill on sledges, bobsleighs or toboggans (bobsleighs, toboggans, toboggans etc. can be hired from the hotel).
Your large indoor children’s playground
“Wow, it’s really cool here!” say our young guests. In the Family Fun Area, there’s plenty for kids to romp around and play: Toddler area, teepee as a reading corner, tree house, slide, ball pool, climbing wall, 2-storey soft play area and much more. Teens will find something suitable for their age in the adjoining youth room.
Everything for your ski & bike equipment
In winter, our uniquely designed ski storage room on the ground floor is at your disposal. Here you will find a personal, lockable locker with ski boot dryer and plenty of space for all your ski equipment per apartment. In summer, our bike cellar is equipped with modern, lockable comfort bike racks, a service station and e-bike charging stations. The bike washing area in front of it keeps your bikes shiny.

The popular Wagrain water and sauna world is just 100 steps away from our aparthotel – your bathing fun and sauna experience right on the hotel doorstep. With an indoor and outdoor water area of 1000 m², 4 water slides, toddlers’ area and much more, it invites you to spend some wonderful hours. Relax in the sauna world with organic stone pine sauna, Finnish sauna, tent sauna, herbal steam bath, brine steam bath, panorama relaxation room,… With the Salzburger Sportwelt Card (guest card), admission is free for you every day. Sustainability at Mariengut
Aware of the importance of nature and the environment, we have made it our mission to build and operate our hotel as ecologically as possible. The building was constructed using solid wood and local materials and the trades were contracted out to Salzburg and Austrian companies. The water in the hotel is of the highest drinking water quality and comes from a spring in the mountains. We use ecological dishwashers and environmentally friendly cleaning agents, generate electricity with our photovoltaic system and heat with local bioenergy. This is our contribution to preserving the wonderful natural environment for future generations.
Architecture & building style
… where modernity meets tradition
In our aparthotel in Wagrain, we uniquely combine an alpine-modern style with traditional elements from our region. All furniture is traditionally handmade. You will find a variety of eye-catchers throughout the house, e.g. a handmade Salzburg dining table with corner bench in every apartment or the traditional parlor with tiled stove and “Jogltisch” on the ground floor, which exude the typical charm of our region and are wonderful counterparts to the otherwise modern furnishings. It is important to us to make our hotel an inviting feel-good place, to create a contrast to the often gray everyday life. We have chosen light, warm colors and used a lot of wood for the high-quality furnishings. The vacation apartments have large windows and a large balcony to bring the fantastic view of the mountains and nature into the rooms. Everything to make you feel right at home with us.
